We begin by taking digital x-rays of your teeth, and on occasion 3D CAT scan images of your mouth. This is gives a detailed look at your tooth, so we can safely remove it in a pain-free manner.<\/p>\n
Once we have planned your procedure, we can inform you about the options for sedation dentistry as well as the anesthesia needed for the procedure. We will completely numb the area around the tooth before removing it.<\/p>\n
If the crown (top portion) of your tooth is accessible from above your gum line, we can do a quick and simple extraction. But if the tooth is broken, or impacted into your gums, it is possible that we may have to surgically remove the tooth.<\/p>\n
